What are the age requirements?

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. This requirement exists because Monarch Money (the destination platform) requires users to be 18 or older. If you are under 18, please do not use this application.

Does this service provide financial advice?

No. This is strictly a data transfer tool and does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or any other professional advice. You should always consult with qualified professionals before making financial decisions based on your transferred data.

How long is my data stored?

Your financial data is automatically deleted from our systems within 24 hours of processing. We do not permanently store any of your YNAB or financial information.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data transfers and storage. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We never store your YNAB credentials - only secure OAuth tokens.

How do I clear my data from the application?

All data is stored locally in your browser only. You can clear it instantly by using the "Clear Local Data" button above, or by clearing your browser's storage. We don't store any data on our servers, so there's nothing for us to delete.

Do you share my data with third parties?

No. We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any third parties for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose. The only "sharing" is the intended transfer to Monarch Money that you explicitly authorize.

What if the transfer doesn't work correctly?

Contact us immediately at fazekas.devon@gmail.com. We'll help troubleshoot the issue and ensure your data transfers correctly. We recommend keeping a backup of your original YNAB data.

How can I suggest improvements or report bugs?

This is an open source project! You can submit feature requests, bug reports, or contribute code on our GitHub repository. Use the Issues page to submit suggestions or report problems.

Are you affiliated with YNAB or Monarch Money?

No. We are an independent service created to help users transfer data between these platforms. We are not affiliated, associated, or officially connected with YNAB or Monarch Money. You are responsible for complying with both platforms' terms of service when using their respective services.
